Jesus the Savior
Christ died for our sins and offers salvation freely to all who believe.

From a missionary outreach in Ikorodu to a District Headquarters of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria. This is the heritage God has built.
When the gospel first came to Ebute Ipakodo, the area was sparsely populated and dotted with idol shrines. The blistering light of the gospel shone brighter and brighter until the gates of hell crumbled, and the shrines gave way to homes. Generations later, that same light still shines across Ikorodu.
“The new church began to win converts for the Lord… and the gospel light still shines brighter and brighter.”
Rev. Harold and Rev. (Mrs.) Faye Curtis bring the Foursquare Gospel to Nigeria, beginning at Yaba, first as a Night Bible College, then a church.
The Curtises extend the gospel to Ikorodu, pioneering Foursquare Gospel Church at Ebute Ipakodo. Among the earliest souls won was Mama Rafatu (Mrs. Abigael Jimbo) of the Sekumade Royal Family.
The Lord used Mama Rafatu to secure eight plots of land for the church, the ground on which the work would be built.
The foundation-laying held in a sparsely populated area dotted with idol shrines, Agemo opposite and Igunuko beside the church. The light of the gospel prevailed, and the shrines gave way to homes.
As the congregation outgrew the first building, a larger foundation was laid in 1995 and the second building dedicated in 2000 then one of the few modern buildings in the area.
Ipakodo Foursquare has given birth to two other Districts, Igbogbo and Royal Palace with many zones carved out and churches pioneered along the way. Thousands of souls have been won and sustained, and many pastors raised and sent.
The foundation of our second building was laid in 1995 and dedicated in 2000 then one of the few modern buildings in the area. Twenty-five years on, the phenomenal growth of Ipakodo has made it inadequate and old fashioned. A new structure has now been designed to meet the needs of today and the growth of tomorrow.
Support the Building ProjectIn the Book of Ezra, the Lord stirred King Cyrus to free the Jews to rebuild the temple; Governor Zerubbabel led the work, and King Darius the Great provided funding for its completion. This is our Macedonia call on you to give generously toward the new building project for the Lord.
Jesus is Lord.
Christ died for our sins and offers salvation freely to all who believe.
The same Jesus heals our bodies and makes us whole today.
Jesus baptizes believers with the Holy Spirit and power.
Jesus is returning in glory, so we live ready.
There is a place for you and your family at the Ipakodo District Headquarters this Sunday.
